Defining CENTRAL EUROPE, Annual Conference 2013, is a two-day event taking place in Padua (Italy) on 15 and 16 May 2013.
The conference will link the presentation of thematic achievements of the current programme with the collection of feedback for the new programme. It will continue capitalisation activities started in 2012 and provide room for discussion on how to sustain and mainstream project results. All CENTRAL EUROPE project partners as well as thematic stakeholders from all governance levels are invited to provide feedback on the intended priorities and actions of the new CENTRAL EUROPE Programme 2014-2020, based on learnings from the current programme.

International Forum of Mayors on Crime Prevention and Security in Urban Settings, Turin (Italy)

Sharing and transferring of best practices between cities around the world to prevent crime and promote urban sustainable development.

The Forum, jointly organized by the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and the Municipality of Turin, will involve mayors and representatives of municipalities, civil society and the private sector from all around the world. The Forum will address the complex and changing dynamics of security and crime prevention while reducing vulnerabilities, inequalities and injustice in urban settings.
